One and a half chickens lay one and a half eggs in one and a half days. How many eggs does one chicken lay in three days?

1.5 eggs in 1.5 days reduces to one egg per day.
Unless this is Monty Python joke, a semi-existant chicken can't lay eggs. So you only have one chicken laying eggs, so then you have 1 chicken laying 1 egg each day.
After 3 days you'd have 3 eggs.
